In the park of the estate ~"De Elderschans~" located in the fortification Aardenburg, is situated a charming castle (550 m2). This beautiful, renovated castle that is situated nearby an area with many creeks, is pre-eminently suited for families and friends. Feel the wind in your hear during long promenades in the vast dunes and on the beaches, but also in the nature reserves ~"De Zwarte Polder~" and ~"Het Zwin~". In Aardenburg you can go back in time with folklore sports like shooting the crossbow or by making a coach trip. A swimming pool, a playground and tennis courts are on a walking distance from the castle. Very worth while are visits to the towns of Knokke (seaside resort), Bruges and Antwerp.
