Cathedral Cottage, No. 16 London Street, is situated within the historic walled city of Derry/Londonderry. Records show that there has been a house on this site from the mid-eighteenth century and possibly earlier. The property dates from 1767 when Henry Darcus Esq. acquired the lease from The Honourable The Irish Society. London Street, called after the city of London by the founders of the walled city, retains much of the charm and character of past centuries.
